Toyota has finally unveiled the Innova Crysta in India. The Japanese car maker has brought this new model 11 years after it was first introduced in India and will be launched this year around the festive season. The new Innova Crysta features an all new design but keeps its MPV profile. The front gets a new chrome grille and wider headlamps housing projector units. The side body work looks plain while there are bigger alloys wheels on offer this time around. The rear now looks much more sharper with the sickle shaped taillights and a roof mounted spoiler.

The new Toyota Innova is powered by a 2.0-litre i-VVT petrol motor that churns out 137BHP and 183Nm and an all new 2.4-litre diesel engine that produces 147BHP and 359Nm which is also shared with the new Toyota Fortuner. The engines will be offered with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox across all variants. On the safety front, ABS, EBD and 3 airbags, EBD, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Hill Start Assist is standard across all variants.
Toyota Innova Crysta Rear
The interiors of the new Innova certainly look refreshing compared to the spartan looking dash of its predecessor. The new multifunction steering wheel, Voice Commands for the touchscreen infotainment system and air gestures are a few firsts for an Innova. The car is expected to be priced starting at Rs. 12.50 lakhs and go up to Rs. 20 lakhs ex-showroom.
