Renault has finally unveiled the facelifted Duster with an Easy-R AMT automatic transmission. The AMT kit piggybacks the same 6-speed manual transmission as the 110PS variant of the diesel motor. The car comes with loads of changes inside out with many segment first features as well. The new Duster gets an evolved T4 Electrical and Electronics architecture and a CMO10 engine compartment that enables enhanced safety. In the looks department the new car gets a redesigned headlamp cluster which the company calls Hawk Eye Cluster Headlamps along with new firefly foglamps. The car will now get Gun Metal finished 16-inch alloy wheels, Kayak roof rails and a sporty new colour – Cayenne Orange. At the rear, the car gets all new waterfall design LED taillamps and a redesigned bumper.
2016 Renault Duster Facelift Interior
On the insides, the new Renault Duster features a Crimson Black and Cedarwood Black interiors on different trim levels and comes with a dual tone soft touch dashboard. Amongst new features on the new car are Automatic Climate Control System, Rear Parking Camera with guidelines, Auto Up/Down window with pinch guard, a new infotainment system with satellite navigation and a new centre fascia. On the safety front, the car gets features like ABS, EBD with Brake Assist, ESP, Dual airbags and Hill Start Assist. In addition to all the above mentioned features the car also boasts of Cruise Control with Speed Limiter and electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs.
2016 Renault Duster Facelift Taillamp
The new Renault Duster will launch before the end of this fiscal to take on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Nissan Terrano and Ford Ecosport. The variant with the automatic gearbox is expected to cost Rs. 1 lakh more than the corresponding manual model.
