Jeep Wrangler Trailcat Concept Powered By Hellcat Teased

Jeep has teased two new concepts based on the Wrangler off-roader ahead of their expected debut at Jeep’s 50th-anniversary celebrations called the 50 th Anniversary Easter Safari event in Moab, Utah.

The Jeep Wrangler Trailcat concept is expected to be powered by a Hemi V8 engine

The first concept is called the Trailcat and it comes with some bodywork changes including new vents on the bonnet. Finished in lime green, the Trailcat could be getting a Hemi V8 engine under the hood. Jeep has already confirmed that the Grand Cherokee will be getting a Hellcatversion next year. It will be a 6.2-litre supercharged V8 engine producing 697 bhp. The same engine could be used on the Wrangler off-roader as well but nothing has been confirmed. The Hellcat engine is currently used in the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcatand the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. They are some of the most powerful and fastest vehicles on the planet.

Jeep has teased another concept called the Jeep Crew Chief. No details on the concept is unknown but it is expected to be a 4-door pickup version of the Wrangler. Earlier, Jeep had confirmed that the pickup versionof the vehicle has been given the green light. It would be launched with the next generation of the Wrangler.

After a lot of delays, Jeep is finally entering India. They showcased the Wrangleroff-roader, Grand CherokeeSUV and the Grand Cherokee SRT performance SUV at the Auto Expo held in Delhi last month. The American company plans to make India a manufacturing hub for their vehicles soon. But for now, the vehicles will be imported through the CBU (Completely Built-Up) route.
