An AMG Aerodynamics package is available as an option. The car rides on 18-inch AMG ten-spoke alloy wheels painted in titanium grey or black. 19-inch alloy wheels are available as an option.
The interior is now finished in ARTICO man-made leather as standard and it gets contrast stitching. The AMG DINAMICA Cockpit package with a trim element in DINAMICA and a DINAMICA Performance steering wheel is available as an option. The interior comes with a lot of AMG logos.
The engine powering the Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG will receive an upgrade in power. The 2.0-litre, four cylinder petrol engine now produces 381 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 475 Nm of torque between 2,250 rpm and 5,000 rpm. It is mated to a 7-speed 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission and power is sent to all four wheels. The sports car accelerates from a standstill to a 100 kmph in 4.2 seconds and goes on to a top speed of 250 kmph. It returns 14.49 kms to a litre of fuel.
The Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG gets AMG DYNAMIC SELECT with different transmission options as standard. A mechanical differential lock is available with the Dynamic Plus package, which is an optional extra.
Just the standard Mercedes-Benz CLA, the AMG model will make its global debut at the New York International Auto Show due to be held later this month. It will be launched to the public during the Laureus World Sports Awards in April. Bookings for the car will start in April and deliveries will start in July this year.
In India, the current CLA 45 AMG has been priced at INR 69.50 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
