The special edition hatchback comes with new design alloy wheels, headlamp washers, fog lamps and ‘Allstar’ badging on the B-pillar. On the inside, it gets automatic climate control, heated seats and some optional equipment along with the features on the regular Polo.
Globally, the car is powered by a 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine producing 108 bhp and it is paired to a 6-speed manual transmission sending power to the front wheels. However, the car seen testing in India came with a TDI badging, which means that for our country, Volkswagen could give the regular petrol and diesel engines that do duty in the regular Polo. It is unknown if the special edition will be offered for the GT cars as well.
The regular Volkswagen Polo
The 2016 UEFA European Championship football tournament will happen in June and July. It competes with the Ford Figo, Fiat Punto Evo, Hyundai Elite i20 and the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
