Now Honda is adding to its lineup, this time, a flagship crossover. Honda UR-V is slated for debut at the Beijing motor Show at the end of April. Honda has already filed for the UR-V trademark in China and the SUV/Crossover is expected to debut in the last quarter of 2016. Honda UR-V will be feature midsize dimensions, slightly bigger than CR-V and will not be as unsparing as the Concept D in design. The language will be toned down in production version. In profile, the crossover concept features a tapering roofline, 21-inch alloy wheels, flared wheel arches and massive skirts. The rear is characterized by prominent C-shaped LED taillights and an outrageous bumper. Not to mention the odd looking spoiler which sticks out.

According to reports floating on the web, the UR-V will be powered by a that 2.4-litre and 2.0-litre petrol engines will be utilised, with drive sent to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. Higher-spec variants may get all-wheel drive. The publication adds that the UR-V will be priced between 250,000 yuan (about $38,400) and 425,000 yuan ($65,200).

Dongfeng has already launched the CR-V and XR-V in collaboration with the Japanese giant and this will be the third offering.
