Much loved CB Unicorn 150 coming back soon

Honda CB Unicorn 150 has a massive following in India, which was launched sometime in 2003. The understated looks went well with the young generation as well as the older folks. With time, Honda replaced the model with other bikes without much success. But finally, Honda has listened to its customers and has decided to bring back their most popular 150 cc bike back in the market.

Honda CB Unicorn 150 was displayed at the Honda pavilion on the first media day of the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo but was taken off later. While speaking to the officials present at the stall, we got to know that the relaunch is imminent within next few months. The HMSI website has now been updated with the technical specifications of Unicorn. The power and torque figures stand at  13PS and 12.84Nm respectively while the engine has been updated to be Bharat Stage IV compliant. It will be available in three colours- Pearl Ingenious Black, Pearl Sienna Red and Space Silver Metallic.

The successful model is making a comeback soon

After the launch of CB Unicorn 160, the demand for the previous generation was so significant that dealers started asking for a premium while clearing up the last few units left in stock. The company has recently launched the CB Hornet 160 R in India and has been doing fairly well. It will be interesting to see what kind of price difference these two bikes come at to stop cannibalization of each other. Another interesting bit is that the CB Trigger has been taken off the website, so we see a lot of chopping and changing by Honda to find the right combination in the 150cc segment.
