Kimi completed 136 laps over the course of the day on the second last day of pre-season testing before the first race in Australia on 20th March.

Last year’ rookie sensation Max Verstappen came in fourth with this year’s car but powered by last year’ Ferrari power unit while managing an impressive 159 laps all by himself. Nico Rosbergclocked the 5th fastest time for Mercedeswith long runs a focus rather than high-speed sprints today. Felipe Nasr saw the troubled Sauber manage 116 laps and Fernando Alonso of McLarencompleted the list of 7 drivers who drove for more than 100 laps. Nasr and Alonso came in 6th and 7th respectively.
Pascal Wehrlein ran into trouble with Manoras he was able to complete only 48 laps, the least amongst all today. Daniil Kvyat saw the chequered flag at 9th place while completing 121 laps ahead of Jolyon Palmer of Renault works team. Surprisingly, Lewis Hamilton came in second last, but there isn’t much to read into it. Romain Grosjean completed 78 laps for the Haasteam and was almost 4.5 seconds of the pace.
