Mercedes Benz C Class 250d launched in Pune; will also be locally produced.
Mercedes Benz India added the C-Class 250d to the C 200 and C 220 d variants, giving customers another option to choose from. The C-Class 250d features an inline 4 cylinder set up with a 2.1-litre mill. It produces 204 bhp at 3800 rpm and a handy 500 Nm of torque at a lowly 1600-1800 rpm. The new 9G-TRONIC transmission helps deliver the power to the wheels. 0-100 kmph comes up in 6.6 seconds and the speed is electronically limited to 247 kmph.
The C 250 d features 17-inch 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels painted in Vanadium Silver finish. It features LED Intelligent Light System (ILS) which automatically adjusts the headlamps based on weather, lighting and driving conditions for ideal visibility in every situation.
On the interior, it gives a choice of three ambient light modes: Solar, Polar and neutral. ABS, BAS, ESP, ASR, Hill Start Assist are standard safety features. B elt tensioners for driver and front passenger seats, reversing camera with 180° view, Attention Assist, Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC add to the safety of the passenger.
