Nissan Group India’s Auto Expo 2016 Plans Revealed!

Nissan and Datsun have revealed their plans for the upcoming 2016 Delhi Auto Expo.

Nissan and Datsun have revealed their plans for the upcoming 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. Nissan will be showcasing the EPORO robot concept while Datsun will be debuting the Go-Cross concept next month at the biennial event.

Nissan EPORO Concept

Nissan India is all set to showcase its advanced technological prowess at the pavilion with EPORO robots, which are designed to travel in a group that mimics the behavioral patterns of a school of fish in avoiding obstacles without colliding with each other. EPORO technology was created as part of Nissan’s development of autonomous drive. The company will also be displaying two ICC World Twenty20 limited edition models of the Terrano and Micra, along with a Terrano Special Version and the sports version of Sunny sedan. Other models from Nissan’s current line-up, such as Micra, Sunny and Terrano, will also be exhibited. Additionally, fans and followers of the Nissan brand will have opportunities to participate in a host of exciting contests, with prizes to be won and exclusive privileges to be earned.

Datsun on the other hand will be unveiling the GO-Cross concept vehicle at the 2016 Auto Expo. It is a crossover version of the GO hatchback and will also share mechanical components with it. Sharing space with it will be the Datsun Bluebird 1600 SSS (510) rally car, which brought motorsport glory to the brand in the early 1970s. Also on display will be enriched versions of the the Datsun GO and the Datsun GO+ with smart displays that will invite showgoers to experience onboard gaming consoles.

Datsun recently announced the launch of a new initiative for its fans in India with the official reveal of teaser videos of the brand campaign ‘ISayYes’. This campaign aims to build a stronger connection with young and ambitious Indians. This interactive initiative kicked off in tandem with the Delhi Auto Expo and is expected to attract new, youthful enthusiasts to the brand.
