Hyundai India, the country’s largest exporter and the second largest car manufacturer has announced its Auto Expo 2016 theme, ‘Experience Hyundai’. The Korean manufacturer will be showcasing the N performance brand with the Grand Turismo along with the new 2016 Tucson SUV.
The Delhi Auto Expo is back and all manufacturers are gearing up with their respective new launches and unveils. Hyundai has always showed us something special at every event and this year it isn’t going to be any different. The company is all set to showcase the all new Tucson. Yes the SUV in its 1st generation was launched in India a long time ago and Hyundai could launch the latest gen model in India next month. The Tucson has gained loads of accolades in Europe and has quickly become the highest selling model for the company there. It will compete with the Honda CR-V and Skoda Yeti when launched in India.
The Korean manufacturer will also be showcasing its ‘N’ performance brand for the first time in India. The Grand Turismo will be the showstopper at the Hyundai stall. Recently the Elite i20 N Sport was a result of the N performance team. It is powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged GDI petrol engine that develops around 115PS of max output. This puts it straight into the Polo GT and Abarth Punto category. But will it be actually launched in India? We don’t think so, at least in the near future.
The Hyundai stall will be divided into a few zones namely Future Zone, Premium Zone, Sports Zone, Safety Zone and Engagement Zone. The N performance brand will be showcased in the Future Zone while the company’s high end luxury brand Genesis will be showcased in the Premium Zone. The Sports Zone will have on display the i20 Active crossover and the Safety Zone will have on display a Genesis crash car to showcase its superior safety features. At the Engagement Zone, visitors can experience Hyundai’s innovative digital initiatives to engage and interact with visitors at the Hyundai Pavilion.
