Indian car maker Mahindra used the ongoing 2016 Delhi Auto Expo as a platform to launch the Mojo Tribe, a riding group designed specifically for Mojo enthusiasts and riders. Mahindra launched the club with a live performance of the club’s own theme song created for the sole purpose of the new riding group.

The Mahindra Mojo receives its own official riding club known as the Mojo Tribe

Mahindra’s new riding club offers numerous features for its applicants such as an Android app that provides a forum for Mojo riders to express their stories, griefs and/or hacks. The app also allows for other Mojo riders to interact with each other encouraging the group to bond not unlike a tribe of well knit, compatible individuals. With the debut of the Mojo Tribe, the Indian car maker seeks to kindle a deep, emotional connection between Mojo riders as a community and thus propel the bike to cult status. Unlike most manufacturers that only wish to further its reputation through sales figures alone, Mahindra shows clear indications of where it wishes to head next with its bike segment.

Along with the Mojo Tribe, the manufacturer also unveiled two brand new concepts highlighting the versatility of the 300 cc Mojo. The Indian bike manufacturer’s first concept transformed the production spec Mojo into an old school scrambler. As a result, the Mahindra Mojo dons a stripped down exposed frame, dual exhaust tips mounted on either side of the bike and heavy duty wheels further accentuating the Mojo’s multi-specialty personality. Other changes include a grey paint job and a single unit headlight.Mahindra’s other Mojo concept sports a more off-road vibe with the Indian car maker raising the bike’s ride height, adding a floating front mud guard and provisions for storing more luggage.
