The low slung sports car’s exterior sports a dizzying array of aerodynamic bits all around such as the front splitter, side air vents, rear wheel adjacent air scoops and a bootlip spoiler. While traditional muscle car names such as the Camaro, Mustang and now the Corvette are now more commonly associated with the sports car segment, the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, with its large bonnet, dual tone color scheme and chiseled body, remains unapologetically brash.

The interior of the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray however, is an elegant blend of plush leather, carbon fiber and premium plastics. The center console features the display and controls for the muscle car’s infotainment system and climate control. Unlike most sports cars found in this segment, the new Chevy Corvette does not feature bucket seats. In its place, the American muscle car comes fitted with premium leather heated and ventilated seats with memory.

The all new 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray produces an impressive 465 hp.

Unlike most new age sports cars, the new Stingray sticks with analog dials for its instrument cluster. However, higher packages provide features such as HUD (Heads Up Display) and performance data recorder. The 6.2 l V8 powering the 2016 Corvette Stingray produces 460 hp @ 6000 rpm and a whopping 630 Nm of torque at 4600 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an eight speed automatic gearbox. All this culminates into the Stingray hitting the magic triple digit number in a mere 3.7 seconds.
