At the launch of the Ford Endeavour, Ford India President and MD, Nigel Harris confirmed that the American company was looking to launch a crossover variant for the Ford Figo. The demand for crossovers has slowly increased with many manufacturers slowly offering hatchback-based crossovers over a wide price range. Demand seems to have gone up due to the vehicle’s rugged looks, more features and higher ground clearance.
