Once again the British luxury car maker Rolls–Royce steals the show with its latest entrant, the Rolls-Royce Dawn which in the company’s own words is the “sexiest Rolls-Royce ever built.” The name Dawn is a tribute to Silver Dawn which was the name applied to around 28 vehicles that were brought in between 1950 – 1954.

Not just the name but the looks are also inspired from Silver Dawn series that were the first Rolls-Royce to have a factory built body.
Rolls-Royce Dawn gets striking looks that leave one mesmerized and it is sure to give one an “erotic tingle on the skin, awakening the senses and passions as the day begins.” The highlight of the car is the new fabric roof which talks a lot about the brand and its aesthetics. It definitely carries forward the Rolls-Royce league and portrays a stately elegance that the brand name stands for. Apart from this, the sheet metal used in Rolls-Royce Dawn is unique to it.
Along with the looks, the powertrain of the Dawn is also impressive. It is powered with a 6.6-litre engine that produces 563bhp that it shares with the popular Rolls-Royce Ghost. With this power-pack Dawn will be able to manage 100kmph in about 4.9seconds. Further, using the Rolls-Royce BMW Satellite Aided Transmission, Dawn uses GPS technology. Bespoke Audio featured in the super luxurious soft top will ensure acoustic balance which comes with 16 individually tuned speakers that have the theater and studio settings. Two bass speakers along with seven tweeters are placed around the cabin to give one a feel that’s incomparable.
The suspension in Rolls-Royce Dawn is new as well and gives it body stiffness while ensuring mass distribution which guarantees cruising comfort. The chassis of the open hooded super luxury car makes it the most rigid convertible available till date. Further, the torsional rigidity minimizes the shake and gives the car a soothing composure that adds pleasure to the drive. Along with these features, there is a 10.25” HD screen which displays the Multimedia interface and Navigation system followed by Automatic Cruise Control.
With a top speed of 250kmph and maximum torque of 780Nm at 1500rpm, Rolls-Royce Dawn is one such beautiful vehicle that is sure to leave one eying it with awe.
