Datsun just launched the Go hatchback. The car is its first car of the 21st century and boasts of more space and performance than any other car in its segment. The daunting task the little car has is to revive a brand all by itself while taking on some of the highest selling cars in the country. So, we take a quick look at the points that matter and take the Datsun Go, up against the Maruti Suzuki Alto and the Hyundai Eon.

Prices of India’s best-selling car, the Alto, have been dropped by upto 46,500 rupees

Verdict

It’s really a matter of personal choice. The Alto is the most affordable while the Eon is the most expensive. The Eon does however get the most equipment in the top end model. The Datsun Go has the most power and space, but Datsun’s service back up is still behind the other two. Had the Datsun had safety equipment at least as an option, it would be a winner. After driving all 3, buyers will have to see which one they are most comfortable with.

Feature Loaded- Eon,

Space and performance- Go .
