This time last year, Lamborghini announced that they had eclipsed all their previous annual sales figures. This time again, they achieved the same feat. In 2014, they managed to sell 2,530 vehicles. In 2015, they easily surged past that and delivered 3,245 vehicles. This is the highest the company has achieved in its history.
They have also started recruiting more people for the production of the Urus SUV. More people will become employees of the iconic Italian company in 2016. More than 150 assembly line workers, technicians and highly qualified specialists have been taken on as the Sant’Agata Bolognese facility gears up for Urus production in 2018. The supercar manufacturer now employs more than 1,300 people.

The Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce
After production of the SUV starts, he expects sales to double. Lamborghini could be selling 5,000 to 6,000 cars every year. Additional 500 new staff will be taken on and they will include technicians working in Lamborghini’s quality, research and development, purchasing, industrial and project management divisions, as well as technical production staff. The production site will also nearly double in size from the current 80,000 square metres to 1,50,000 square metres.
The Lamborghini Urus
Globally, Lamborghini sells the Huracan LP 580-2, Huracan LP 610-4, Huracan 610-4 Spyder, Aventador LP 700-4, Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster, Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce and the Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce Roadster.
In India, they sell the Huracan LP 580-2, Huracan LP 610-4, Aventador LP 700-4 and the Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster. The range starts from INR 2.99 crores (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and goes up to INR 5.62 crores (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The Huracan Spyder might soon join the line-up.
