This, hasn’t diluted the Beetle’s form factor though. The Bug still manages to retains it’s characteristic cute features that endeared it to millions across the world. For India, Volkswagen has envisaged a 2 liter petrol engine outputting 115Bhp.

The engine will transmit power to the gorgeous 16 inch wheels via a 6 speed auto tranny. ABS, Traction Control, Anti skid system and air bags complete the safety package. Sounds more like a Ferrari doesn’t it? Yes, the Beetle VW is launching in India is a global model with all these features as standard spec. In addition to this, we’ll see cruise control, a terrific entertainment system, parking sensors and other goodies too. Now, rich daddies can drive off to the nearest VW dealership to buy one for their darling daughters for 20 Lakh Indian rupees.
