Piaggio India has launched its first ever premium concept store, Motoplex, in Pune. The store aims to be a one stop lifestyle store for the group’s extended portfolio which include brands like Vespa, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi.
The Motoplex showroom in Pune was inaugurated in the presence of Mr. Stefano Pelle, Managing Director, Piaggio India and is the first of its kind store launched in the whole of Southern Asia. The flagship store by the Piaggio Group aims to provide a new Global in-store experience and a innovative retail concept to its customers. These multi brand stores have been launched worldwide only in a few metropolitan cities like Milan, New York, Shanghai and Beijing. The Motoplex flagship store will offer Piaggio customers the Group’s most prestigious brands like Vespa, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi all under one roof.

The Piaggio Group is Europe’s largest 2-wheeler manufacturer and entered India recently in April 2012. It sells scooters under the Vespa brand which has seen quite a lot of buyers in the recent past due to its classic retro appeal. Aprilia on the other hand manufactures high performance bikes and is known for its V4 bikes like the RSV4 and the Tuono V4 and V-twin bikes like the Shiver, Dorsoduro and Caponord.
