Honda has forayed into a new segment with the Navi, which is a scooter-bike crossover. Honda claims that it is a fun to ride vehicle which looks rather odd.

The Navi has created a new interesting scooter – motorcycle crossover segment

The Navi is powered by an 110cc Honda engine producing 5.84 kW of power at 7,000 rpm and 8.96 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. It is mated to an automatic (V-matic) transmission. The bike, which measures 1,805 mm in length and ground clearance of 156 mm, weighs in at 101 kgs and has a top speed of 81 kmph. It has a 3.8-litre fuel tank and stopping power is provided by two 130 mm drum brakes. It rides on tubeless tyres.

The engine comes with Honda Eco Technology (HET) which improves mileage without compromising on power. Ride comfort is improved by telescopic front suspension and, what Honda says, is a good design.

The Navi is available in 5 different colours: Red, White, Black, Green and Orange. Honda has priced this interesting new crossover at INR 39,500 (ex-showroom). It is to be seen how the Indian motorcycle enthusiasts react to this new segment.
