announced that it appointed Mr. Amitabh Bachchan as the new Brand Ambassador for the TVS Jupiter scooter in India. TVS Jupiteris currently the second largest scooter brand sold in India after the Honda Activa range.
The first TVS Jupitercampaign with the veteran Bollywood actor will be built around this festive season and will be directed by renowned director, Shoojit Sircar. This is the first time Mr. Amitabh Bachchan will be endorsing an automotive brand in the two wheeler space. The TVS Jupiter is the highest awarded scooter ever in the Indian market. It is powered by a 109.7cc single cylinder motor that develops 8.2PS of max power at 7500RPM and 8Nm of torque at 5500RPM. The engine is coupled to a CVT automatic transmission and boasts of a mileage of 62Km/L. It comes loaded with features like a mobile charging port, external fuel filler, a unique pass switch, key shutter lock and combined braking to name a few.

The Honda Activa is the nearest competitor to the TVS Jupiter, along with Hero MotoCorp’s newly launched Maestro Edge scooter.
