TVS RTR 450 FX
Competing in the most gruelling race on the planet and finishing it without the machine braking down is quite a task and TVS did exactly that at the Dakar Rally with the RTR 450 FX. RTR 450 FX is powered by a 449.40cc, 4-valve engine producing 55 bhp at 10,000 rpm and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It has a WP telescopic fork, 52 mm tubes rebound and compression adjustable suspension capable of 300 mm travel at the front and a progressive, multiadjustable Trax rear shock utilizing a linkage and rod system which can travel 300 mm. It has a Akrapovic titanium header pipe, titanium muffle for some loud roar at the rear end and Synerject digital electronic fuel injection. It has got a 1505 mm wheelbase with a staggering 355 mm of ground clearance and a 970 mm of ride height. RTR 450 FX comes equipped with 13 litre fuel tank. The only thing is it isn’t for sale and we hope TVS makes a proper off-roading vehicle with the experience gained on this bike.
