The 2017 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross was revealed for the first time in India at this year’s Delhi Auto Expo.
Major exterior characteristics include an all chrome grille up front flanked by large projector headlamps on either side. The chrome treatment continues on the sides as well as the rear with chrome plated ORVMs and door handles. The four door pickup truck also comes with four wheel drive, a revised suspension setup, longer wheel base as well as a higher ride height to provide better off road capabilities. Dubbed as India’s first adventure utility vehicle, the 2017 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is targeted at individuals that tread the path less traveled.

Powering the 2017 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is a four cylinder BSIV compliant diesel engine that churns out 134 hp @ 3600 RPM and an impressive 320 Nm of torque between 1800 and 2800 RPM. Power is sent to all four wheels via a five speed manual gearbox.
Projector headlamps come stock in this variant of the popular Isuzu four door pickup truck.
Despite the off-road nature of the D-Max V-Cross, its interior comes fully loaded with a high end infotainment system, steering mounted controls, and premium upholstery. Large cup holders, dual golveboxes, illuminated scuff plates only add to the car’s luxury appeal.
The 4×4 heavy duty utility vehicle features the new iGRIP system that allows it to tackle higher speeds with greater stability.
Although the V-Cross’ core focus is that of holding its own under extreme circumstances, the Japanese car maker has opted for front disc brakes only. However, the heavy duty off-roader comes with ABS and EBD along with brake assist and dual front air bags.
