Koenigsegg has revealed its plans for the 2016 Geneva Motor Show that is due to be held early next month.
Koenigsegg Agera RS
The first model will a brand new Agera RS. The Agera RS became the fastest selling Koenigsegg model ever. Only 25 cars are being built and all of them were sold out in just 10 months. The hypercar made its debut at last year’s Geneva Motor Show. Based on the Agera, it is powered by a twin turbo 5.0-litre V8 engine producing 1160 bhp at 7,800 rpm and 1280 Nm of torque at 4,100 rpm. It is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission with paddle shifts and power is sent to the rear wheels. The car weighs just 1.4 tons. The performance figures will be similar to the other Ageras. The 0-100 kmph acceleration time is less than 2.5 seconds while 200 kmph is dealt in less than 8 seconds and 300 kmph in around 12 seconds. Top speed will be around 440 kmph mark.
Another new car from the Agera range will also make its debut. This will be the final car in the series and it is expected to be a stunner, just like the other cars.
