There are rumours that the only SUV Force Motors sells, the Force One could be discontinued shortly. The SUV has failed miserably. From November 2011 to January 2016, Force Motors has been able to deliver only 3,008 units. They had targeted 4,000 units during the first year itself. More than 5 years later, they are still pretty far from that target. In November of 2011, they sold 134 units but that has gone down to just 13 units in January 2016.

The Force One SUV could soon be pulled out of the market due to its failure

The SUV comes equipped with electrically operated ORVMs with integrated side turn indicators, projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, front and rear fog lamps, rear wiper with washer, a 2 DIN audio system with Bluetooth and steering mounted controls, all three rows air conditioning, cruise control, leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather-wrapped gear knob and leather upholstery for the seats. The interior also gets wood trim panels. Safety systems include ABS, EBD, brake pad wear indicator and a rear parking assist system.

Powering the only SUV from Force Motors is a 2.2-litre, four cylinder turbocharged engine producing 140 bhp at 3,800 rpm and 321 Nm of torque between 1,600 and 2,400 rpm. All-wheel drive is available only on the top-end variant. The SUV rides on 16-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tyres on them and it has a top speed of 160 kmph. Force One can seat 7 people.

The Force One SUV starts from INR lakhs 9.59 (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and goes up to INR 14.34 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi). It competes with the Mahindra Scorpio, Tata Safari, Renault Duster, Mahindra XUV 500 and the Hyundai Creta.

After the discontinuation of the Force One SUV, the only personal Force vehicle is the Gurkha, which is an off-roader, aimed at the Mahindra Thar.
