Hyundai Tucson was unveiled at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016. The car will be launched in India at a later time. It is expected to cost around Rs 18 lakh when launched and compete in the premium SUV segment.
The new Tucson was launched at this year’s Geneva Motor Show and it features a softer design that brings it in line with other SUVs from Hyundai. It features a few more curves in its design and looks sporty rather than a butch SUV look. The design language is called Fluidic Sculpture 2.0.
On the outside, the SUV gets projector headlamps with LED positioning lamps, fog lamps, LED daytime running lights, panoroma sunroof, LED tail lights, rear wiper and washer and a skid plate. On the inside, you get a dual tone interior with steering mounted controls, cruise control, navigation system and an auto air conditioning system. The SUV also gets rear air vents, parking assist system (PAS) and seat warming and cooling air ventilation system. Safety features include Autonomous emergency braking (AEB), Blind spot detection (BSD), Lane departure warning system (LDWS), Advanced traction cornering control (ATCC), Tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), active headrests and 6 airbags.

The Hyundai Tucson is powered by a 2.0 litre CRDi diesel engine producing 182 bhp and 402 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission and power is sent to all four wheels.
