Bajaj V15 was unveiled a day prior to the auto expo and now according to a report floating around the internet, the booking have begun for the model which is priced at INR 63,275, ex-showroom, New Delhi.

The report suggests that the booking amount differs from dealer to dealer but is in the vicinity of INR 5,000 to 10,000. Bajaj V15 will be placed between Bajaj Pulsar 150 and the Bajaj Discover 150. The Bajaj V is powered by a 149.5cc single cylinder four-stroke air-cooled DTS-i engine, churning out a maximum power of 11.8bhp at 7,500rpm and 13Nm of torque at 5,500rpm, comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Bajaj V15 is not a cruiser in the traditional sense but according to the company it is meant for gliding through city traffic easily with minimum gear shifts. The V15 will be offered in one variant that comes with electric start and disc brakes as standard. Bajaj V15 measures 2,044 mm in length, 780 mm in width and 1,070 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,315 mm. The ground clearance stands at 165 mm and the ride height is a comfortable 780 mm.

Talking about the equipment’s, it gets a new speedometer cluster with a dual-colour LED, fuel-level indicator, INS Vikrant plaque on the fuel tank, red decals all over and ten-spoke alloy wheels in black. Talking about the fuel tank, the metal melted from INS Vikrant is used to make the tank.
The on-road price is expected to be around the INR 70,000 mark.
Brief history about INS Vikrant:
INS Vikrant was the first ever aircraft carrier built for the Indian Navy, serving the country from 1961 until 1997. The aircraft carrier played a major role in India’s win over Pakistan in the 1971 war. Sea Hawk aircraft on board the Vikrant pounded the Cox Bazaar area from 110 km’s, later on targeting the Khulna and Port of Mongla region. This attack incapacitated the Pakistan Navy. During the war, the crew of Vikrant earned two Mahavir Chakras and 12 Vir Chakras.
