The Datsun Redi-Go will be the most economical offering from the company in India.
Datsun Redi-Go Global premiere
Redi-Go is based on the Compact Module Family- A (CMF-A) platform, sharing its underpinnings with the Renault Kwid. The much-loved SUVish styling in the Indian market will be seen on the DatsunRedi-Go. The car has very short overhangs and the bumper looks to be integrated very nicely into the bumper. The edgy lines flowing along the side make it look uber cool. The rear has a high back and the logo sits comfortably in the middle splitting the rear window and the metal. The wheel arches have a massive bulge and the tyres feel skinny in a large wheel well.
The company will begin to accept bookings fro May 1 and the deliveries will begin beginning June 1. The company has not declared the price of the car. The Datsun Redi-Go will compete against the likes of Maruti Alto, Hyundai Eonand most importantly the Renault Kwid.
